Waimea Town Celebration is Kauai's largest and oldest annual festival on the west side of the island. We celebrate our proud history and tight-knit community with over a week of cultural and recreational events! Whether you prefer being a spectator or want to get in on the action, Waimea Town Celebration offers something for everyone, from keiki to kupuna!
February 13 - 20, 2016 will find the town of Waimea filled with LIVE entertainment, a Hawaiian rodeo, canoe and stand up paddle races, a celebration for Kaumualii - Kauai's last king, a film festival, softball and 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, a fun run (10K, 5K, 2K), hat lei, ice cream eating and ukulele contests, cultural exhibits and culminating in a 2-day Heritage of Aloha Hoolaulea (2/20-2/21) with continuous entertainment on the big stage with local food booths, games and rides for the keiki, craft vendors and a Koloa Rum - Heineken/Coors Beer Garden for adults 21+.
