| Description: | Location: Kalama Park One of Maui's most popular events, World Whale Day (formerly known as “Whale Day”) features free, all-day celebration honors the humpback whales that come to Maui each winter. Newly expanded, World Whale Day begins at 9 am with Maui's Parade of Whales and ends at 7:30 pm this year. The public is invited to enjoy free live entertainment by some of Hawaii’s top recording stars and hula performances. Last year, more than 18,000 Maui residents and visitors attended. The day features live entertainment by Hawaii's top performers, great food by Maui restaurants, activities and bouncy rides for kids, a huge "Made on Maui" artisans fair, environmental displays and more.
