| Description: | Location: South Kihei Road Maui’s Parade of Whales is the official launch of “World Whale Day.” The parade runs from 9:00 am to 10 am. The parade theme is “World of Whales.” The parade travels along South Kihei Road, beginning at Alanui Kealii Drive and moving northward, past Kalama Park to end at Kihei Public Library on Waimaihaihai Street. The public is invited to view the parade and join in the fun. Pacific Whale Foundation also invites community groups and organizations, musicians and dance groups to sign up in advance to be a part of the parade!
