Join Hawaii Volcanoes National Park rangers on this hike to a kipuka or isolated geologic island of remnant native vegetation to discover the rare plants and trees that live there. A challenging 1.5-mile hike. Free; participants limited. Bring raingear, garden gloves, day pack, insect repellent, water, lunch.
