| Description: | Location: Leeward Community College Theatre UHManoa's Outreach College and Leeward Community College welcome the legendary Ben Vereen for an evening of song. A consummate artist whose accomplishments over a 40-year career have included Broadway (Jesus Christ Superstar, Pippin), television (Roots, Webster, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) and film (Sweet Charity, All That Jazz, Idlewild). Onstage, Vereen exhibits an inexhaustible joy for performance.A portion of every ticket purchased supports arts programming at Leeward Community College and the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College. Help continue tours to Hawaii by such world renown artists as Angelique Kidjo, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Huun Huur Tu Throat Singers, Larry Carlton Trio, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Tatsuhiro Oshiro, and Trey McIntyre to name but a few.
