| Description: | Location: Kalama Park Maui's Keiki E.C.O. (Educating Children Outdoors)Dayis a free, day-long event that brings schoolchildren together in a beautiful oceanside park, to learn about the environment and their role in protecting it. Visiting families may also participate; please sign up in advance by contacting Pacific Whale Foundation. Hosted by the non-profit Pacific WhaleFoundation, in partnership with nonprofits, government agencies, community groups and Haleakala National Park. These groups work together to present outdoor, hands-on, science-based learning programs to the school classes participating in the event. | |||
