Additional Information : The B.I.256 is a 256 mile race that can be run by a team as a relay or by individual athletes as a solo. The 256 mile course will trace the perimeter of the Big Island of Hawaii. Though the landscape of the B.I. is widely known for its beauty, the terrain presents a demanding course and will challenge relay teams in STRATEGY and TEAMWORK and will at the same time demand the utmost levels of STRATEGY and STAMINA from the solo athletes. Again, to ensure the absolute highest degree of competitor support, entrants will be limited to 34 solo athletes and 5 relay teams that will have each team member complete 10 mile increments.
