| Description: | This year marks the 6th Annual I LOVE LILIHA FESTIVAL. The Festival will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Prince David Kawananakoa Playground. The I LOVE LILIHA FESTIVAL showcases the unique cultural diversity of Liliha while educating community members by bringing civic and health groups together for one day to share their information with attendees. Festival Founder State Representative Corinne Ching (District 27-Nuuanu, Puunui, Liliha, Alewa Heights) says "This is an opportunity for the community to come together and I am proud of the support the Festival has received over the past five years." Some of highlights will include keiki games and bouncers, music, entertainment, food booths that will offer local delights, and a health fair for the community featuring a variety of local organizations. | |
