| Description | A tribute to the islands multi-cultural plantation era and all things pineapple, this festival takes place at the Kahului Cannery site in Central Maui from 9 am to 2 pm. Enjoy a pineapple recipe cook-off, Maui Pineapple Co. country store, farmers market, Made-on-Maui products, pineapple food booths by nonprofit groups, crafts, a kids fun zone, and live local entertainment and top name Hawaiian bands. Free admission and parking. Sales proceeds benefit Maui community and school groups. This homecoming for Maui Pineapple Co. retirees includes a Memory Lane exhibit of historic photos and memorabilia, Remember When, Talk Story video documentary, Cannery tours and pineapple plantation tours. Tours take place at Haliimaile in Central Maui and at Honolua in West Maui. Space is limited; call to reserve. |
